Kevin Collins, Founder and CEO
Kevin drives the product vision and overall direction of the company. Through his hands-on experience at BC Hydro, Kevin has lead the company to the point of being a ‘game-changer’ within the smart energy ecosystem. Kevin has over 20 years experience in architecting, designing and building enterprise class information systems. Prior to launching Bit Stew, Kevin was Director of Architecture and Development at Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, CTO and VP Engineering at Navio Systems, National Director of Enterprise Security at Experio Solutions (Division of Hitachi), and was a Senior Manager at Ernst and Young eSecurity Solutions.
Alex Clark, Founder and CTO
Alex drives overall product development for all Bit Stew Products. Like Kevin, Alex has leveraged his hands-on experience at BC Hydro to get a keen understanding of the scale and reliability requirements of a large utility. Alex was the original architect of the Bit Stew XML engine and is a renowned global expert in SOA (service oriented architecture and web services. Prior to forming Bit Stew, Alex was CTO at Navio Systems and Chief Software Architect at B3 Security.
Jett Winter, VP Sales and Marketing
Jett drives the company’s sales, business development and overall marketing efforts. His focus is to articulate and deliver a value proposition that is truly compelling to customers and partners. His resume includes the successful execution of IPO’s, Private Financings, M&A, as well as the creation top-tier executive teams. Jett has deep experience in software, SaaS, cleantech, and financial services. He has a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an MBA from Boston University.
