AMI Deployment & Management

The AMI Deployment and Management module runs on the same powerful Grid Director 2.0 platform and benefits from its real-time capabilities as well as its many integrated features. The AMI Deployment capabilities are targeted specifically at handling the deployment complexities of work order management, reconciliation of work orders with AMI device registrations, recognizing configuration and operational issues that impact deployment and keeping a healthy track over the deployment lifecycle. The deployment of thousands and millions of AMI devices can be an overbearing challenge for most organizations and ensuring traceability from end-to-end is a herculean task. Grid Director's AMI Deployment and Management module makes the job easier by providing a real-time view into deployment.

Similarly, the AMI Management capabilities built into the platform provide a unique view into the world of AMI networks, devices, components and all the related operational and enterprise technology. From the moment a device is deployed and operational, the day-to-day tasks of managing the AMI network kick into full gear. As with deployment, the management activities must account for the full lifecycle of the network and device including on-going work orders, configuration changes, additions, deletions, and troubleshooting. The Grid Director AMI Deployment and Management module provides real-time visibility into the day-to-day operations of the network.

The AMI Deployment and Management module provides access to these [and more] valuable features:
