Revenue Protection is the newest member to the Grid Director suite of products and has been designed to leverage our real-time analytics to detect theft. The objective of this module is to analyze the vast amounts of data that comes in through AMI and Smart Grid networks and to put that data to work to determine where theft might be occurring on the grid. Energy theft can be a significant issue with utilities and amount to millions in lost revenue on an annualized basis. The Grid Director Revenue Protection module can help and it can bridge the information gap to provide more accurate estimates. Our probability metrics can consume information from meters on the AMI network as well as correlate the information to data that comes from a distribution system or from Smart Grid devices that may operate off a different network.
